Wow, dial-up takes so long.  I'm spoiled with DSL.  But Troy is home sick with a fever and the junk everyone else has, so I did not go into work today.  I should be real productive and get a lot done at home but here I sit at the computer.  Things are good here except for the cold that is going through the house but I am almost done shopping and my tree was up early, so no "holiday stress".

Grandpa turned 90 this weekend and we had a party.  Wow, he is my last living grandparent, gets a little confussed at times and can't see real well, but he is 90 after all.  I've been thinking more and more about age and what I've done so far, we are planning my 20 year class reunion. (gasp!!!).  Life goes by so fast.  What have I done to further Gods kingdom?  Have I influenced anyone for the good?  Or am I aimlessly wondering through life doing the everyday chores.  Hmmm.

Merry Christmas!!! All my love to whomever still reads.

A weekend of soccer, 8 games in 2 days and its going to be cold!!! What are we thinking.  But it will be a lot of fun with friends, we take the camper and have hotdogs and chilli and just make a day of it.  Jeremy made the 7th grade basketball team so now he has practice everynight, oh yeah.  It wouldn't be bad if it was right after school but no, its at 5:30 to 7:30 at night.  Gotta love it, what I do for my children.  And now I'm working 4-5 days a week, I still try to sneak out to get to my bible study at BSF.  Our mechanic got hurt so we are shorthanded and I guess I have to step up and work more.  Life is grand, laundry is piling up everywhere and we have no food in our house; but that's okay because we are never home.  Well, I have to go help at the hot lunch at Troys school.  Lets see maybe I need practice, can I so NO?  What would I be doing with nothing to complain about.  I am blessed with 2 beautiful children who are healthy and involved in activities and our business is busy,  Thank you Lord.

"Come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest."

I guess I'm too old for Xanga don't have much interest in keeping up to date on postings and my life is a lot of the same.  It seems that a lot of the ones I kept up with are moving on to my space, is this were everyone has gone?  Maybe I'll just post every couple of months so you know I'm still around.

Our mechanic got hurt over the weekend, so now I will have to work more and the burden on Tom is a lot heavier.  Sometimes you feel like what next.  The boys are playing a lot of soccer, so I run to practice 3-4 times a week.  But this is not all bad because that is the time I sit in the car and do my Bible Study.

Sunday School started and so far we have 2 girls in the class. They are interested in doing a study of the rapture and the tribulation.  we are going to use the left behind series for kids and work that into a bible study, its a work in progress, but I'm getting excited about it.  Anyone have any suggestions, Jeremy?

Well, I'm thankful the gas prices have come down, I can drive over 200 miles in a week. Wow.  I feel I live in my car at times.

I'm feeling disconnected from church, but in the next breath I feel closer to God and some of the people from church than I ever have.  Weird.  Overcommitted? Cutting back or getting priorities straight?  Life is busy, too busy?

Enough rambling.

Where has the summer gone?  Family vacation to South Dakota, it was awesome.  The best part was that the cell phones did not work, talk about disconnecting.  Gods beautiful countryside amazing mountains, wildlife, beautiful.  Looked a bufffallo eye to eye, scary.  We've been racing Jr. Dragsters and that will continue until late October, lots of family fun.  Soccer is to start really soon we have a tournament in August.  Still working almost everyday, depending on the week.  Walking in the relay for life Cancer Walk.

I'm really trying to refocus on God right now.  I feel so disconnected and confused on what I need to be doing.  the bible study I'm doing is very good but I need to be working on it daily not cramming at the end of the week.  Lord help me get my butt out of bed!

Working a lot 4-5 days a week and boys in baseball and soccer, trying to keep my head on straight.  Feeling overwhelmed and spending tons of money on gas!!! yikes.  Going to miss Jeremy & Amy, feeling sad about that.  Love our youth and wish I could talk to them more, I don't get to see the senior high girls much.  Taking a note from Ali and posting random thoughts.   Can't wait to go racing with my boys, May 27th. yeah for that.
